BE HEALTH
We focus on the innovation of MedTech and HealthTech. There are two systems under BE Health, "BE Accelerator” and "BE Health Ventures". BE Accelerator is the largest MedTech startup accelerator in Taiwan, having mentored nearly 100 startups and fundraising a total of $1.5 million.
BE Health was established to solve the problem of high barriers to enter the Healthcare industry. We provide startups with the multidimensional support in clinical and market entry. Since BE Accelerator was established in 2018, we've supported many MedTech and HealthTech startups. We have strong medical institution partners which include two medical institution systems in Taiwan: Taipei Medical University and Show Chwan Health Care System. Every year, 20-30 physicians from these two hospital systems mentor startups. BE Health will continue to expand our international cooperation partner network, execute unique accelerator programs, hold diverse events, expand our influence in Asia, and become "The Gateway to Asia for MedTech and HeathTech".

Why
Healthcare?
The healthcare ecosystem is particularly complex. Due to the associated risks of failure, it has been an innovation averse industry. There are numerous factors that are endemic to the industry such as institutional policies, hierarchical systems, long sales cycles and high costs. Despite these challenges, we are bullish about the opportunities that innovation will provide to the healthcare ecosystem. The BE team works tirelessly to improve the success rate of both local and international startups looking to start in or scale up in various Asian territories.
Why Taiwan?
Backed by a supportive government, increase in venture capital and startup friendly regulations, Taiwan punches well above its weight as a startup ecosystem.
