2026 TMU x BE x SCHS Demo Day Brings Together 10 MedTech Startups from 7 Countries, Focusing on Investment, Clinical Validation, and Cross-Border Business Partnerships

The highly anticipated healthcare startup event, 2026 TMU x BE x SCHS Demo Day: PULSE HORIZON, will take place on July 17, 2026, at Room 504, Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1, Taipei.

Co-hosted by BE Health Ventures, Taipei Medical University (TMU), and Show Chwan Healthcare System (SCHS), this year’s Demo Day continues the three parties’ collaboration since 2018 in building a healthcare innovation platform that supports MedTech startups as they move from clinical needs to product validation, investment connections, commercial partnerships, and international expansion.

This year’s theme, “PULSE HORIZON,” symbolizes the pulse of healthcare innovation driven by entrepreneurs who continue to move forward despite challenges in clinical validation, technology development, fundraising, and market adoption. It also represents the convergence of healthcare systems, investment resources, industry partners, and international networks, creating new opportunities for Taiwan’s MedTech ecosystem to move toward the global market.

10 Startups from 7 Countries Showcasing Diverse MedTech Applications

This year’s Demo Day will feature 10 MedTech startups from Taiwan, the United States, Canada, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, and the United Kingdom, covering high-potential fields such as AI medical imaging, clinical decision support, surgical technology, digital therapeutics, remote rehabilitation, cognitive care, contactless monitoring, and continuous physiological measurement.

The presenting teams include RADAX.AI, Aulea Medical, Machnet Robotics, Luminopia, Xandar Kardian, AISI X, MacroInsight Innovation, Omnilabs Research, RadiRad, and Brainmate.

Their technologies span AI-assisted brain imaging detection, urological surgical devices, cardiovascular interventional robotics, digital therapeutics for pediatric amblyopia, contactless vital sign monitoring, multimodal AI imaging triage, AI-powered mammography quality review, remote rehabilitation, cuffless continuous blood pressure monitoring, and cognitive assessment and therapy systems for dementia.

Together, these startups demonstrate the diverse possibilities of healthcare technology in improving clinical workflows, care efficiency, and patient experience.

Connecting Hospitals, Venture Capital, and Accelerators to Support Startup Adoption

TMU x BE x SCHS Demo Day is more than a startup pitch event. It is one of the few healthcare innovation platforms in Asia that integrates hospitals, venture capital, and accelerator resources.

This year’s Panel Discussion, titled “Reimagining Healthcare — The Next Frontier for Innovation, Investment and Adoption,” will explore how healthcare technologies can move from clinical needs to market adoption through the lenses of innovation, investment, and implementation.

As the global MedTech industry refocuses on capital efficiency, clinical evidence, and real-world adoption, startups need more than technology showcases. They need strategic partners who can support clinical validation, commercial collaboration, investment readiness, and market entry.

The panel will feature international experts from the biotechnology and healthcare investment sectors.

Christopher Potts is the Chief Business Officer of Persephoni BioPartners, a U.S.-based biotech venture studio focused on building next-generation advanced therapy companies. He is also the Founder and CEO of Monarch Therapeutics, a company developing CAR-T cell therapies for solid tumors. With extensive experience in biotechnology, intellectual property, licensing, and strategic partnerships, Potts has long been active in fostering cross-border collaboration and innovation across the global biotech ecosystem.

Dr. Jaemin Park is a physician entrepreneur and business builder with experience across clinical medicine, private equity, and cross-border life sciences commercialization. As Founder and Managing Partner of Heal Venture Lab (HVL), he leads healthcare accelerator and venture-building initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on healthcare investment, life sciences commercialization, and the growth of emerging MedTech companies.
